Wii Fit: Weigh your pets too April 24, 2008

miyamoto pug

Shigeru Miyamoto had wanted to include a mode that would allow players to weigh their pets. He wasn’t able to include it in the Japanese version, but in the North American version, available May 19th, players will receive a message informing them that if they weigh themselves while holding their pets, then weigh themselves again separately and subtract the two, the difference will tell them how much their pet weighs.

Miyamoto was always an idol/icon for me, now that I know he has a pug he just went up 10 points in my book. I’ve been a multiple pug owner for 5 years, love the little bastards.

From the UK manual : "After you've weighed yourself, why not try it again while holding your baby or pet? You'll be able to see the difference in weight and find out how much they weigh too.

NOTE: This feature only works when your baby, pet or item you're holding weighs 3 kg (7lb) or more. Any weight difference under 3 kg (7lb) will be treated as a natural fluctuation in the user's weight."

What about the UK Version? Out today! Don't have "teh moniez" yet :-(
  • He has a puggie?! OMG. I love pugs, and seriously. He is now A-number-one in my book (more than he already was), lol.
  • Pugs are cute...In a I-smashed-my-face-into-a-wall kind of way lol
