Stray Bullet Games working on an MMORPG for Wii

shadowbaneIt seems that Nintendo has not overlooked the MMORPG genre as we just learned that the studio Stray Bullet Games has been commissioned to create one for the Wii.

The company is known primarily for the game Shadowbane. Anyway, a senior programmer job listing for Stray Bullet Games has appeared over at Gamasutra’s JobSeeker Message page.

The studio was careful not to give away any details about the game except for these employee requirements:

  • Program, debug, and fine-tune game systems and features
  • Work closely with the project team to implement the game vision
  • Ensure technical quality of game code through testing and iteration
  • Create and maintain technical documentation on game systems
  • Contribute ideas to improve quality and fun

What do you think about an MMORG for the Nintendo Wii?

If they could pull it off, this could be the best thing that ever happened to Wii.

As long as there are no online fees…. but, it may not be a bad idea to pay for it in Wii Points.

  • ann coulter sucks

As long as its not turn-based fighting. And no monthly fees. it would be good news
