Wireless SNES controller for Wii

snes wii

Nintendo’s just started shipping out these SNES controllers to their Club Nintendo members in Japan. As much as I love the Wii’s classic controller, the SNES controller was always my favorite. Lets hope these come to the rest of the world. Keep your eyes out for these suckers on eBay and/or some 3rd party developing them, totalconsole, I’m looking at you.

Thanks Bobby Junc

Ok, I’m kinda upset (and I’m sure many American residents agree with me). Is there ANY way we can get in Club Nintendo?

  • shanoboy

That’s as awesome as the SNES style controller that came out for gamecube a few years ago, actually its even better because this is actually an exact replica.

Too bad this, like the cube version will probably cost us Americans a fortune to get a hold of.

Wireless? Looks like it has a wire to me….

  • xero

well, it plugs into the wii remote, so it’s SORTA wireless…

  • jamie

    no analog stick?

  • scullum2001

@ jamie – what original SNES controller do you know that has an analog stick?

  • Steve

    @ scullum2001 the SNES advantage.

  • scullum2001

@ Steve – thanks, jamie. haha. but the Super Advantage was not the original SNES controller. good try. j/k… not to mention, it looks nothing like it. it was huge. if you want something like the Super Advantage, I’d go for the Wii Shaft or Fighting Stick.

I thougt it was wireless also, without any atachment to it,,,it better cost the same or less than the classic wii controller..
