Gaming with Friends at Home, Not online!
Online multiplayer gaming has taken over the current generation, with millions of people logging on to X-Box Live to play games like “Call of Duty 4″ or “Halo 3.”
But, even some of us cavemen still enjoy playing a game with everyone in the same room!!! (I know I’ve got to be kidding, well I’m not!)
Most games this day in time have multiplayer built in somewhere. I’ve spent countless hours playing with my friends across battlefield (s) or attacking them with some kind of space ship. I’ve gotten hours of good times out of games like “Super Smash Bros,” free-for-alls then just about all other games combined.
Nintendo’s Wii, with its user-friendly controllers, has been credited with a revival in “social gaming.” And its most popular multiplayer fighting franchise has arrived on the new system, turning Wii households around the world into Brawl Central, I’m excited to see the tide turn from Online Gaming to Side-by-Side Gaming.
Here’s wishing we see more of the same!
