Is your wii not able to connect to the internet anymore?

Apparently since the latest Wii system update the system will not connect to a Belking router. I was wondering if this was true so I went to http://www.support.nintendo.com to see if it was true. Nintendo had this to say

Apparently, you need a Nintendo USB connector to connect to the internet.

    I have a Belkin router with an updated firmware and have no problems connecting to the internet with the latest Wii update. My firmware version is 9.01.10.

    i have a belkin router and i can connect just fine. just got done about 20 min ago beating some sonic user

    Damn I hope I’m not the only one with this problem, I have a SBG900 Wireless Surfboard Motorola Gateway and I can’t connect to Internet, I’ve tried all the manual settings stuff and it just doesn’t work.

    Please can someone help me?

    I’m using Belkin N1 Vision W-less Router and it’s just fine.
