Factor 5 working on for Wii? January 20, 2008

Having Factor 5 working with Nintendo will be nice. It’s that much nicer to see them working on a Wii title. If we could only know the game there working on! Well, Kombo say that they’ve got that information from an inside source.

A Kid Icarus game for the Wii? As you all know I would love to see a Kid Icarus game (What NES/SNES game would you like to see remade? and From Prime to Pit? just two hopeful story’s I’ve done). But Would Nintendo really offer up the license to Factor 5? We know that they are a dev team that can really squeeze some wonderful things out of hardware. When reviving a Nintendo franchise, Nintendo would have to trust the developer big time. Again only a rumor for now.

Ever since the news broke on Factor 5 and the Wii, people have been speculating on what game they were making. We’ve heard rumors of a new Turrican, and StarFox game they could be working on. Now we can throw Kid Icarus into the mix?

Do you guys think this rumor will turn out to be true? and would you like to see this happen?

    pilotwings... YES! Totally forgotten about that franchise. It makes total sense. Rogue squadron was a flying game. It was awesome. Factor5 have just made lair on ps3 (which sucked due to the sixaxis being crap) but with a bit of effort they could really make a great pilotwings game. Please please please. ... Or 1080 with balance board control! Oh yeah!

    since their familiar with the star wars-esq type. Star Fox is probably what it would be. However, since the n64 starfox, other companies to a crack at the franchise and failed compared to the n64 one. So i believe only ninty should do fox. Maybe Pilotwings, since that was originally a title entrusted to facto 5ive. either way, im excited to see how they push the wii's graphical limits:) oh yea!

    i think it would be awesome if retrostudios worked on kid icurus and make it into a first percon shooter adventure what games has factor 5 worked on?
