GH3: Replacement Disc Update!!!

A piece of an Activision automated-email update:

“We wanted to provide you with an update regarding the status of the Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock Wii replacement discs. The game has been approved by Nintendo and is currently in manufacturing. We expect to have the replacement discs available in February. Once we have the discs, we will contact you and then pro actively send you a prepaid return envelop with a game exchange claim form. You should return the completed form with your current copy of the game. Once we receive a completed claim form and game, we will send you the replacement disc. We thank you for your patience and support.”

    WOW so they fuck up and make it mono and now we have to go with out GH3 until they send us a new one thats gay they should send us the game first and then we can send back the old one so we don’t have to go without it.

    I’ll be renting the GH3 game during the month that I don’t have it. Then I’ll be sending a bill to them in the mail. If they refuse to pay I will be filing a lawsuit and submitting for class action status. I would suggest you do the same.

    OK new update. I received my GHIII replacement disc today (March 17, 2008). Guess what? Yep, still mono!!!!!! I can’t begin to tell you how disappointing this is. If you are eagerly awaiting your disc, don’t get too excited. Curb your expectations until you get it. Unbelievable.

    @ bbbgggaaaarrrrrbb – I don’t think you can get it anymore. Contact Activision to check for sure. And if you bought the game after this, then you have the new version anyhow.
