Brawl receives perfect score from Famitsu.
It looks like Brawl’s multiple delays might payoff for Masahiro Sakurai and the whole Smash Bros crew.
Famitsu, one of the most highly respected gaming publications in the Gaming industry, has awarded Brawl with a 40/40 score in their latest issue. The review states that an encompassing and enjoyable adventure mode, entertaining Final Smash moves, and “outstanding presentation” as some of their reasons behind the perfect score.
Famitsu isn’t known for giving out perfect scores left and right. Since their first issue was published in 1986, the magazine has only given the 40/40 honor to six other titles (Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Soul Calibur, Vagrant Story, Zelda: Wind Waker, Nintendogs, and Final Fantasy XII). That’s only seven games with a perfect score in almost 22 years of publishing. So Brawl will be one of the greats!
