Real life Mario Galaxy photos

mario galaxy

This photo technique has been out for a while and I remember thinking to myself that it was cool, but I never followed any of the tutorials. I saw this again recently and people were calling it “Real Life Mario Galaxy”. That little thought in my head made me look at this photo technique in a whole new light. I can picture mario jumping around the images now. So, if you want to see some more of these:

That’s really cool man: I don’t think I will try to do it ever because I suck but it sure is great to look at!

Havent played Galaxy but just reminds me of the Kingdom Hearts worlds

Are these cool or are these cool? And for troy, they are really easy to make once you have a proper source picture at hand.

Great find, Mick. Planets like these are sure possible in real life because we have moons. It’s a matter of how much percentage of gravity for each planet/galaxy depending also on the its size/mass.

In Super Mario Galaxy, it seems all galaxy planets have the same force of gravity. No planet has less force than the other that would make Mario jump and float longer than normal.

Anyway, nice viewing. These photos remind me of the Panorama technique. \:D/

    Thanks for the science lesson.

    Like we needed it too.

It’s done using a panorama photo and then polar coodr’s filter.

Mario Galaxy planets concept remind me to “The Little Prince” book.
