On the 11th day of Wii-mas December 24, 2007

My true love gave to me!

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link!

Now, you may ask me “Well Wishale, whats does the second zelda game have to do with the number 11?”.

Well readers, I’ll tell you now.  I downloaded Zelda II on the day it came for VC and played it(or atleast tried to?) 11 times before giving it up.  Zelda II is one if not the hardest game I have ever played but is still a must have for the diehard fans.  The games puzzles were below average for the typical Zelda title and the side scrolling dungeons were a bugger to get through but it still had Link with a dagger looking sword taking down evil little pigs to save the princess and thats enough for me.

Have you guys ever given up a game you purchased without playing through the first level?

Come back tomorrow for the wrap up of my carol of Nintendo!

Seriously, damn this game to hell.
Even with Maxed out Levels it’s pretty tough. once You hit Lvl 8 life, magic and attack, by the time you reach the 5th castle all the enemies are still beyond your ability to kill easily.

This game makes Battletoads feel beatable.

wth are you guys talking about?

this game isn’t hard…! as nes games go, it’s of very very average difficulty.
it is, however, one of the greatest games ever made, and my 2nd favorite in the zelda series after majora’s mask.

compared to battletoads (pretty darn hard), the first castlevania (nigh on impossible), or bayou billy (ridiculous beyond comprehension) among scores of other games, zelda 2 is a walk in the park. a fantastic, 9-year-old-me-inspiring, forever-nostalgic stroll through adventure gaming at its finest.
