Wii overtakes GameCube sales in Japan. December 13, 2007
The Wii has now passed the GameCube total sales in Japan. This week’s sales have now pushed our favourite white console to an amazing 4,025,356 units sold and it’s done that amount in just a short 54 weeks. Even the Nintendo DS, which sold slower initially, took 53.7 weeks to reach the same milestone.
So here’s to all you doubters that thought the Wii was a fad. It’s here to stay!
