Mario Party DS:

So far, the game has been interesting. There is lots of variety in this quirky game. The story has you racing to get the most stars on each game board to continue.

You can play as one of eight characters: Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Peach, Daisy, Toad, Wario and Waluigi. They all ready to foil Bowser’s latest scheme. He seeks five powerful crystals and shrinks down the crew so they can’t stop him. But each of the tiny heroes wants to be the one and only Superstar that brings down Bowser.

There are a variety minigames and five themed game boards that are brought brought to life with fun surprises you can only achieve on the DS.

I havent had a chance to Fire up the multiplayer yet, but I hope that it is lots of fun.

Cooking Mama 2:

If you have played the first cooking mama, you wont be missing anything here. But, none the less, this is still a fun game and interesting game.

Stylus only guys, you flip burgers, stir stews, filet fish, anything you can think of about cooking is in this game.

There are a plethora of different meals you can cook, each one having small details you can change to make the meal special. You wont be disappointed by the amount of things this game has for you to cook.

This go around, the game gives you more of a challenge, you have to cook the meals in competitions and win to unlock more meals. So, it keeps you practicing untill you can get it perfect.

Ultimate Mortal Kombat:

A refreshing breath of the past UMK is lots of fun, and the included WiFi fights are tons of fun too.

You use the direction pad to move and jump. The a,b,x,y buttons to attack. And the shoulder buttons to block. Of course, there are combos that link all of those together so dont expect it to be super linear.

At the core, this is Mortal Kombat 3 ported to the ds. It wasnt the best mortal kombat, but it is still tons of fun and really satisfying to be sub-zero and pull your opponents spine out. You have 5 people to unlock in the game, 3 by special codes, and 2 by beating the hardest difficulty. You have 24 total characters to choose from, and none of them fight alike so it will take a while to master each of the characters.

As I have gained strategies fighting the AI, I decided it was time to delve into the online mode. It is fairly simple and quick to start a fight. Just choose where you want to fight, and it will set you up with another player. You will then decide if gore is on etc. The fight is then started. As you would have guessed, I got my butt kicked by my opponent. But, the experience was buttery smooth. I was impressed.

Thanks for Reading.
