  3. Gravatar Rob Says:

It was terrible. It only worked when the wii was right next to it. Maybe they should re-release a good version.

Only used while the Wii was next to it? Sorry, but you must have had a faulty one there. I’ve used mine since it came out, for both the DS, and the Wii, and I have hardly had any problems with it at all. I really don’t think it’s terrible, as it works great for me, and has done for ages.

I got one, and after loads of tries to install it I finally did it (took me about 2 months and 3 computers) it is working perfectly, not even overheating, about the signal, I could get it while in the bathroom, door locked. I think nintendo will augment support for the connector before rereleasing it, it is a great device and I doubt it will be permanently discontunued

It was discontinued because buffalo got sued. Though if this company succeeds on this test suing (which there’s actually signs since this has been discontinued until further notice) that they claim it to be then it might get worse. You think discontinuing this is bad, this freaken company wants to sue all the companies using wireless. There’s a freaken list of who they plan to sue and Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony including many others are on the list for who’s next.

The case has been going on since last year which if they have successfully got this off the market then it’s concerning.

I bought it the day after xmas and once I figured out how to upload it, the thing worked 1 day then I lost the green power light and had a nice electrical burning odor from it. The store I bought it from wont take it back and now I am going thru Nintendo to get hopefully get it replaced or refunded.

I had one of these when they were first released in stores then it worked for the first week or so and i had to restart after each time i took it out of the usb and then the inside started sparking

This sucks… I *FINALLY* found a cheap usb wifi adapter for under $50.00, and Nintendo pulls them from their shelves… This truly burns my ass. They better bring it back. It’s one of the few cheap ones that work with Linux out of the box.

  14. Gravatar david Says:

It works fine, but every time i want to play somebody over the internet it always diconnects us.

  15. Gravatar SirVenom Says:

Rizzo: It was difficult, if at all possible, to use the Nintendo adapter for PCs.
