Check Mii Out! Channel is now Live November 11, 2007
A long time coming, people can finally put their Miis on display for the world. Either posting Miis in the plaza or creating Miis for lookalike contests is a surefire way to get people to continually use their Wii more every day. The first contest is creating a Mario without his cap Mii.
It looks like the channel takes up 91 blocks of space.
One neat feature is that everytime you post a Mii you recieve a twelve digit code that you can pass on to friends enabling you to share your masterpieces. To try it out, go ahead and look up my Mii with the upside down face: 2997-8152-6844
Also, you attach a Mii artisan to your posted Miis. Mine is named Serenity because that’s my wife’s name and she makes most of our Miis.
Have fun!

Maybe it’s me, but I wasn’t all that impressed. Everything is still all so random. It’s as if Nintendo doesn’t want to come close to having any sort of online contact between parties.
You cannot search by any Mii. You get a random list. Granted, it’s nice to see many creations, but most are so poorly put together, I really don’t see a benefit to being able to download them to my own console.
C’mon Reggie, give us something more useful with the Miis. Pliis?

I’d like it if they updated the Mii Channel along with this. But we’ve been asking for that for a long time…definitely not original with me.

Been using the channel a lot and the limits to what you can do how you can search really makes me wish we can get an update already. Its sad that Nintendo isn’t thinking about these things when they release something. The same artisans are on top, not because they have the best Mii’s but because they were likely the original posters on the channel. I do enjoy some of the art Mii’s though, very original but would like to have more access to individual artisans who aren’t featured in the top 50 list.
