Yoshi passes on…

Tribute to Yoshi the Pug from hey_suburbia on Vimeo.

This isn’t Live Journal, but since my dog was named after Yoshi the Nintendo character and I run this site, I feel I have to post this.

We got Yoshi at 5 months old from a breeder. We soon discovered she had a severe heart problem. She was put on medication and lived a wonderful 2+ years. We had many vacations, holidays, and lazy weekends with her. Yoshi was our best friend and had the most unique personality.

She passed away after a fainting episode in our arms and we spent two days sobbing. It’s been the hardest thing in my life I’ve had to deal with and I’ve lost close friends and family members, Yoshi’s passing hit me really hard and I hope she can live on through this video and our memories of her.

We love you Yoshi, forever.

Best dog EVER!

Dang, that was a neat but sad ending with the art drawing and the zooming out with the lone collar.
I noticed the intro to the classic Orbital tune too.

Much respect~ May she rest in peace..

Read the site a lot… never post.

My wife and I just lost our beloved cat back in April. She was absolutely a member of our family and I’ll miss her forever.

It’s definitely one of the hardest things to go through.

Remember the good times, remember the great times.

I’m very sorry for your loss…

Great video…got me all choked up. I have a black female pug that looks a lot like Yoshi…and she’s about a year and a half now. I can’t imagine losing Braddock, so I can imagine how hard things must be.

Wow. Our dog’s named Tater. He’s a beagador and we’ve had him for a little over a year. I can’t even fathom how I’d handle losing him, but something of this nature seems like a good start.

My friend lost his beagle/bassett last year. His name was Bowser, and strangely he now owns another named Koopa (Troopa) and even stranger a pug named Yoshi. No lie.

I’m praying for you Mickey, if anything, just to get the time needed to let it all run through your head.

  • Dustin

My dog died just three weeks ago.

Its the hardest thing i’ve ever gone through.

    I feel your pain.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your pet.Any animal lover can feel your pain..it’s the sucky part of being a pet owner. If you have lots more love to give an animal, go to the pound and get another one. Lots of animals that desperately need a good home. Remember…it’s not a replacement, it’s a testament to how good a dog Yoshi was.
