No Downloadable content for GH3 Wii

This is a bit of sad news that came from the review of Guitar Hero III for the Wii. Still a great game and the online play beats the PS2 version, but ouch, this is something everyone was really looking forward to.

“What you won’t get, however, is downloadable content, which is a huge shame, as it’ll be a huge focus on both Guitar Hero III and Rock Band’s future. Wii simply doesn’t have the space, and despite the developer’s best efforts the system just isn’t ready for that type of expansion yet, which is disappointing.”

    Yeah I dont see why we couldnt just download straight to an SD card…. and the wii can take what it needs from that,

    I thought they said they are still working on getting downloadable songs out there for Wii. They just haven’t done it yet. (At least that’s what I heard.)

    Why not just do this if it cant hold the memory at all Sell a Disc for the wii to get all the songs that the others have.

    Or sell it at the Wii Shop it can be re downloaded.

    Yes, SD cards would be perfect for this, and if not, has anyone else noticed the USB ports on the back? A simple dashboard update that allows a standard external HDD would be even better…

    The big “N” and Activision need to get their heads out of their asses and make the Wii owners happy…

    Hell, I just bought a second guitar today for the Wii, they better figure something out…

    they know how popular it was with the other systems and only they know how much they made off of it.

    I think they know that it is important and im sure they tried to put it in, wii just isn’t good enough.
