Is this Proof?

Ok so for the longest time we’ve been asking is this Brawls box-art?

 

 

well ign talked to Nintendo and they denied ,denied and denied! They even went as far to say that they hadn’t ever released that artwork. Then sites started using it as a place holder Box-Art and I was like could it be the Box-Art? and again Nintendo denied ,but is this proof?

 

 

This is the latest issue from Nintendo Power so is this proof that this is the Brawl Box-Art?(For me this 100% confirmation and I see no reason for anyone to disagree.)

    this just means its official Nintendo art, not necessarily the box art.

    That’s true xero ,but to me it screams box-art becouse it was first shown as box-art it was the first sign of wi-fi so I’m going to stick with box-art.

    ZS Samus could be the worst character in the game, but if her boobs bounce every time she attacks, she’ll be the most popular.

    I can see a big group of guys playing and then suddenly a smash ball appears and all the characters on the screen stop except for samus

    “Dude! get it!”

    “Hit the damn thing!!!!”
    “BOOOOOOBS!!!!!”

    Nah, I can picture this as the box-art. The first one for the N64 was goofy enough. Melee cover was more 3D-rendered but kinda photoshoppy. This one is like a mix between the goofy and the fan-art stuff. I wouldn’t be surprised if this really ends up as the official. Any doubters would feel pwnd afterwards if it were true. That’s where the laughing begins. \:D/

    Sonic will be on the box art, they’re allowed to make more than one picture for use with Brawl.

    maybe the artist who drew that posted it on there own blog or someone got a hold of it and added the boxart components as dorks tend to do to try and fool gullible bloggers, just a thought.

    I will point out that Nintendo has the original most likely because on the NP cover, the SSBB logo is gone (duh) but what i didnt notice at first was that Pit isn’t on it either (he would either cover up or be covered by the NP logo, and neither one of those is very desirable for the publishers) so, unless it’s a very very very well done edit, they have the original so they were able to take things out as needed.

    the NP image also goes farther out on the edges than the box art.

    yes it is. i reserved the game at toys r us and that is what is on the reserve sheet

    yes, but it is also on Amazon.com and probably almost any other store site you go to.

    What we’re arguing (sorta, no one is really disagreeing with anyone) is whether this is actually it because, apparently, Nintendo has denied it or something.

    Just because that is the art that is being shown doesn’t mean it is the actual box art.

    just another thought,
    I haven’t been a subscriber to NP in a long time, but I don’t really remember them ever using box art on the cover of an issue (though Nintendo is no longer running it)

    I dunno, I really like it and everything, but the more I think about it, the more it seems to me this isn’t it.
    I dunno, its just a feeling.

    or maybe I’m just hungry.

    (agh, sorry, I feel like I’m spamming the comments all the time, but i post then I go back up and look at the pictures again and have another thought)

    Ya know, maybe this is the total opposite of what we’re thinking.
    Maybe instead of the cover coming from the box, maybe the box art is just another version of the NP cover (with Pit in it) that someone decided to use as temp box art for some odd reason.

    I dunno, I’m just throwin’ stuff out there.
    I’m just really bored.
