What are you playing this weekend? October 20, 2007

Filed under: News — Floating World @ 9:38 pm

Obviously the weekend is nearly over, and I apologize, but I want to hear whats in your Wii/DS/etc. I nearly finished up Dewy’s Adventure today, and am planning on playing Smash Brothers Melee for nostalgic purposes. Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground and Counter Force for the Wii should be arriving at my house on Monday…but that’s not the weekend, is it?

So what are you playing? Let us know in the comments!

  • Floating World > Sure, actually I'm getting very close right now. If you check out the forums here at WiiNintendo, you can stay in the loop easily. I expect a beta release within a week or so.

Well, Right now I am playing SSX Blur on my Wii, bought it not to long ago.

I'm anticipating reveiws on Proving Ground, and thats about it for now!

Battalion Wars comes out very soon as well, so I think I might be getting that one!

yesterday I finished Metroid corruption and I'm playing some PBR/Charged online until my friend comes over and play some dungeon explorer(VC) then Bomberman 93(VC)
  • Last night I got done to some multiplayer with a friend on RedSteel and I gotta say the controls feel weird after you're already used to Metroid Prime 3 (perfect controls). But I got my groove back and still kick ass. Then 2P on Street Fighter II [VC].

I won't be home much today so I'll be playing Flash Focus: Vision Training in Minutes a Day [DS] while on the road. \:D/

I'm pretty sure no one in their right mind should ever even try counter force, let alone buy it. Dewy's is better, but I thought they made it too hard on some of the bosses.

Me, I'm playing Mercury meltdown revolution because it just came out in USA.
Also still trying to complete some levels of DDR Hottest Party.
  • Hey Daniel, when you're getting super close to the beta release...can we set up an interview with you?
  • I may play some Melee with my wife and some friends and will definitely be putting in some Final Fantasy VI Advance time before bed.

Most of my weekend will be concentrated on getting the HullBreach MMO RPG ready for its big beta release on the Internet Channel later this month. If you haven't already done so, you can check out info on the game in the WiiNintendo forums: http://www.forums.wiinintendo.net/viewforum.php....

Graphically, it's not bad, the controls are decent, nothing amazing though. IMO, there are so much better games out there, why waste time playing Dewey's adventure, when there are so much better games?
  • Actually, Dewy's Adventure, for me, is a game that has exceptional graphics, as well as spot-on controls. The style of the game is impeccable, and the textures are top notch.

Sorry, but my friend got tony hawks proving ground (wii) and it was frustrating, not because the game was challenging, but because the controls wouldn't work. We popped in Tony Hawk Pro skater 4 into his Xbox, and had a blast. The graphics were just as good, if not better, PLUS the controls worked.

As of now Xbox 1 is a much better choice. If you don't have a Wii now, wait until developers start making games that you can actually play. You know, with controls that work right.

  • Come on squirrel...not true.

Dewey's adventure wasn't all that great IMO, rent it first, Max.
I'm playing all my new Xbox (1) games. Unfortunately, I'm finding much better games, that are a lot more fun, with BETTER controls, and BETTER graphics, on my Xbox 1 than on my Wii.

Smash Brothers Melee(Why not?) and Mario Strikers.

I hope to get Counter Force or Dewy’s Adventure this weekend.
