The official NPD figures for September are in, covering sales across the US.

Wii numbers are up again, but it looks like overhyped Halo 3 gave the 360 a boost for the month. PS3 is down again, while GBA’s still hanging in there!

  1. Xbroke360 – 527,800
  2. Wii – 501,000
  3. DS – 495,800
  4. PSP – 284,500
  5. PS3 – 119,400
  6. GBA – 75,000

So is the Wii’s lack of big games starting to hurt it? Will the 360 continue to ride high? Is Brawl’s delay a disaster? Will Galaxy come to the rescue? Is this too many questions for one meer man? so why don’t y’all take a crack at them  ,but noone can say that the next 3 months won’t be very interesting.

According to VG Charts, DDR has sold about 50,000 copies on the Wii. I think it sold 25k in it's first week.

    Lol!
    1. MGS isn't even out and they game MAY be ported to the 360
    2. Nintendo has Metroid prime
    3. Learn how to type "console" then come back, also a mic isn't necessary for having fun if I would want to talk with strangers then I would buy the new MMRPG called "outside" lol.

DgF: Metroid Prime 3 is an amazing first person shooter, and it got the same score as Halo 3(although it is better than Halo 3). In my opinion, Halo 3 is very mindless(no puzzles in the game AT ALL) and is way too slow(walking speed). I enjoyed the Halo 2 multiplayer, but only for a little bit.
Also, Metroid Prime's career mode is roughly five times as long as Halo's.
Personally, I want to focus more on the game rather than get distracted by annoying people's voices online, so I don't mind the Wii's lack of a mic although I heard Nintendo is planning on making one.
Also, I bet about half of this month's Xbox 360 sales are from people who got the Red Ring of Death.
Also, I wouldn't call Nintendo's games "kiddy" as mostly adults have Wiis now.

Here Nintendo goes again with kiddie games, 3 mario games, pokemon. yea Mario is great but i want some good FPS, xbox gots halo, ps3 has MGS. what does Nintendo have? does Nintendo even have A MIC FOR THEIR COUNCIL?????????
  • hey Halo 3 Is An Awesome Game but well... not 1 game can support an entire console, for long anyway =p
