Rumor: Nintendo developing Pokemon RPG for the Wii. October 20, 2007
Internet reports, an un-named developer of the Pokemon game franchise has revealed that a Pokemon RPG title for the Wii is in the works although it is not yet known whether this will be a sequel to Pokemon Battle Revolution. According to the dev, there has been no Pokemon RPG for the Wii recently as Nintendo wanted to push Pokemon trading on other platforms as much as conceivably possible before handing that over to the Wii.

Pokemon’s fun, but recently all I’m hearing about is pokemon. Battle revolution was’nt too great,but who knows.This could be the game of the century(lol)

There’s a massive worldwide clan of Pokemon fans (excluding myself), and we can’t lose them can we? Nintendo systems are the only platforms you can find them on. The best we can do is to not be selfish, and just let it be.

When will they make a Pokemon game that you can actually go venture out in the virtual world and catch rare Pokemon? The closest thing to it was Pokemon XD [GC], which was just a small area rather than an environment. It should be a 3D 3rd-person view action RPG like Zelda. I don’t believe if Battle Rev even does that. It’s only a dream~

Im up for a pokemon rpg on wii, i feel like revisiting my olden days pokemon blue cartridge on gameboy…but now i’d have to buy a ds to play it..pfft…but i have a wii, so i would be interested to play it again with a new look and a wii graphics engine…i think yes there are way too many pokemon titles, the pokemon battle game sucked on wii, but i would be interested to have a go of this rpg on wii, just for poops and giggles

I have waited for this a long time now. It would have been cool if it where a online pokemon game where you could like, go explore the world in 3d. Catch wild pokemon, and choose the looks for both u and your pokemon. Group up with youre friends and challenge them to a battle. get gym badges and enter pokemon turnements. Training and elvolving youre pokemon. Do missions for money so you could buy Pokeballs and Potion.

This is why i like pokemon….You can dream up your own game and create new pokemon in your imaginary game world.if you create a new pokemon you might even want to draw it give it a description and send it to Nintendo and pokemon companies

make one it would be so fun and i know Wiis internet is weak and cant do as much as XBOX 360 or PS3 so how bout sending it over to XBOX360 it would be so fun even on Wii just the storyline period would be fun

I have to agree with Roth, I wish they had a more free form RPG that is First Person, it would be so good. I am sure the Wii could handle it. Battle Revolution on the Wii was a rip off, such a dud game it should have been a freebie when you bought the Ds diamond or pearl because you really had to have those games.

The ultimate pokemon game would consist with Virtual reality. You could actually feel the pokemon and everything. it would be awesome!

I love pokemon games, i have them all
cliche i know.. i would love to see a new pokemon snap game.. that is actually what i am searching for.. but all i find is that Wii now allows you to dl pokemon snap (the 64 version) onto your console so you can play it, they did this sometime last year.
But yeah, that would be GREAT!!!

I don’t have the DS but I do have the wii, I hope it comes out quick.
By the way the people who think pokemon is suckish are suckish themselves.
I’m also trying to save up fore an extra computer so I can make a game kind of like pokemon. Of course I will have to remake everything and The computer will cost $1,150.

i think itll be good if its done right, like you should be able to roam the world as you like not like in colleseum..
