Here’s some of what was revealed today in Japan:

- Monster Hunter 3 for Wii

- SSBX JP delay to 1/24, Sonic announced

- Mario Kart Wii Spring ‘08, motorcycles!

- Super Mario Stadium Baseball Wii

- Wii Music coming, Wii Fit ~$75

- WiiWare in March w/ new FFCC game

- More WiiWare: Dr. Mario, Pokemon Rancher, Star Soldier

- Download DS demos from Wii

- Fire Emblem DS

Good stuff, eh? I’m pretty excited right now. No word on whether or not the SSBB/MK delays affect the US yet, but hey, we’ve got motorcycles in MK! Crazy! That’s one thing I never would’ve dreamed of for some reason. Can’t wait to see how it turns out :)

Then there’s WiiWare, DS demos via Wii (finally!), Mario Baseball, Fire Emblem DS, and perhaps most significantly of all, Monster Hunter 3 for Wii. That’s some pretty huge news for Japan, especially as it’s confirmed exclusive. More as it develops!

[Other] Head over to IGN for the live blog of the event translated into English, and while you’re there, check out the WiiWare Pokemon gallery.

[Other] Pics! We got your Mario Kart, your Disaster, and your Mario Baseball. Glad to see Disaster’s still alive, and MK looks like a blast! Header image changed for second and final time; I just couldn’t tolerate keeping Pokemon up there with all this great stuff around :P

[Other] This just won’t stop! Click here for a motherload of pics, including Wii Music, Disaster, and many more. Low poly count or not, I think Disaster is looking very cool.

[Wii Ware] Currently, the following Wii Ware games have been announced: Pokemon Ranch Channel, Dr. Mario, Maruboushikaku, Minna de Puzzloop, Okiraku Ping Pong Wii, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Star Soldier R, Mojipittan Wii, Bomberman, and Joy Sound. New titles seem to be added every time we open our browsers, so keep checking back here at WiiNintendo for all the latest News.

[Update 1] Ping Pong on Wii Ware it was only a matter of Time. Arc System Works has announced an original title for the service, Okiraku Ping Pong Wii. You will use the Wii-Mote like the paddle and based on your movement you will do a top spin, back spin, smashes and other shots. You will be able to choose in between automatic movement and manual movement what ever floats your boat. Types of play will include challenge mode and four player doubles mode.

Arc System Works will release this download-only title to Japan along with the launch of the Wii Ware service in March.

[Update 2] Screens Galore Mario Baseball,.(look Below)

[Update 3] Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Young King and the Promised LandStay with WiiNintendo for all the breaking News.

[Update 4] SEGA has recently unleashed a flood of News, the company has also announced that the Mario and Sonic is gold, and has headed out to manufacturing for release. The game has also been moved up, so if you’ve pre-order then you may need to pay attention. Sonic at the Olympic Games is now ariving November 6, which is now only a few weeks away. Update your calendar; the Olympics will be here soon.

[Update 7] Battlefield 2142 was released last year, and Battlefield: Bad Company is set to arrive in 2008. DigitalBattle is reporting it has been forwarded an internal document that may be the first details on an unannounced Battlefield game.
DigitalBattle says the document, a PDF file, seems to target towards investors and lists a set of game features:

  1. Release in late 2008
  2. Powered by “Frostbite DX”
  3. Set in year modern day
  4. Will ship with 8 maps, each supporting up to 40-players per team
  5. Two playable factions, NATO and MEC (Middle Eastern Coalition)
  6. Same “ticket-based” gameplay style as before
  7. Maps are mostly urban, based in Middle East
  8. Squads and Commanders are present, introduced are “Battalions” which consist of three to four squads.
  9. Five playable classes; Sniper, Assault, Engineer, Medic and Support
  10. Will feature 48 different vehicles (24 for each faction)
  11. Will feature 34 different weapons (17 for each faction) and another 22 unlocks (for both factions), in total 56 different weapons.
  12. Other unlocks include different types of ammunition, body armor, helmets, camouflage and accessories.
  13. Possible public beta in “Summer 2008??
  14. Online stats tracking, awards and “real world ranks”
  15. “Soldier” feature, looks like MMO-styled characters and avatars
  16. Ranked servers will be available for resellers weeks before the game ships
  17. In-game replay and recording feature

    DAAAMMMNN!
Well, I gotta give Nintendo Props for this one. I’m super excited about the Crystal Chronicals game, That was my favorite game for gamecube… They could make online co-op with either your friends, or you could be matched up with another player. And (Assuming they use the DS as a controller like you used the GBA for the GC version) you could use the DS mic to talk to each other… I’m so happy now :D
