At Nintendo’s annual fall conference in japan a few details were released.

These include:

1. Mario Kart Wii will introduce motorcycles to the gameplay and ship during Spring 2008

2. Square-Enix will be providing an exclusive Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles game for the service subtitled The Young King and the Promised Land. Players will be able to build their own country in the game.

3. WiiWare games will be sold at a low price, according to Nintendo. The company did not provide specific details, but previous reports noted that WiiWare software is expected to cost no more than 10 USD (1,000 Yen).

4. Super Smash Bros. Brawl will feature Sonic the Hedgehog as a playable character. Nintendo showed brief gameplay footage of him transforming into Super Sonic, and the game will include online functionality for both regular brawls and some form of co-operative play.

There is plenty more news to come so as it arrives ill keep you updated. I’m really interested about the motorcycles in mario kart.

I really like the idea that they are making Wii Ware games that will communicate with the DS. Even though I don't have a DS, I like the idea of cross communicating especially for the small Wii Ware games...

I hope they put as much unlockables and extras in Mario Kart as they did in SSBBrawl... Also Mario baseball sounds interesting if they can make in-fielding fun
