phantom hourglass no stylus

*Note this is used to patch the ZeldaTP ROM (which is illegal) and not hosted here and dont’ ask where to get it either.

The patch of right now works, but there are some things that can be improved.

The A,B,X,Y buttons don’t let you attack. You still have to use the stylus with your right hand. Also, because the D-pad is used for movement, I’m not sure if you can get your map down to the bottom screen to write notes on it.
(Forum Member at GBAtemp.net confirmed this).

The patch is being updated, so we’re likely to see full use of L,R,A,B,X,Y.

Stay tuned to this thread for the latest testing opinions.

How do u use the d-pad in phantom hourglass?
  • Max
Well this would be nice since when you try to let someone watch you really can't becouse your hand gets in the Way.
  • @Quiche_on_a_leash:
It's only a news story. It doesn't provide ROM links or anything, and it's not like you can just donwload an emulator and ROM and try it out. You need special hardware, and the people that already have the hardware, have probably already pirated the game.
  • Hey lets encourage people to pirate games and thus make Nintendo loose loads of money!

Anyway the stylus is the only way to really play the game, how else could you use the boomerang etc?

Interesting. But I love the stylus play.
