Getting Married? You need a Wii!

Kotaku.com points out that the Nintendo Wii is the most registered for item in Amazon Wedding registries.(Our main admin won’t need to be regestered him and his Gal already have a Wii)

It’s interesting that we’ve gotten to the point where is  a way of life, husbands are able to talk their wives into registering for consoles for their weddings.(heak some wives are talking there husbands into it)

I’ll be honest, I don’t know how long this has been going on. Maybe Super Nintendos were a hot wedding registry item too. I have no clue.

For some reason I find the Wii topping the registered items list surprising though. A little further down the list is the Wii Remote, and a little further yet is the nunchuk. Down at number 44 is the PS3 and the Wii Charge Station at 75. Finally at 96 is the Xbox 360.

Ok, these are some of the most registered for items. The list I would like to see is how many of these are actually bought as wedding presents, and not just wishful thinking on the groom’s part (The ladies also).
