Additionally, sales for the Wii Nunchuk and Wii Remote controller helped break the top three sales rankings for the Halo 3 Limited Edition and Legendary Edition held last week.

This just shows how not even “so-called” candidates for the Game Of The Year can stop the sales of something cheap, efficient and entretaining…they can bash the Wii all they want, it is not going to change to fact that it is sell, and that is not a flop, and that it has games, contrary to what the people bashing the Wii have…(or how I like to call it…overpriced bulletproof boxes!)

I don’t know how this could be a suprise to anybody, the wii is just better than x-box, which will just fall be cause they just copy whatever they think works, but forget that when they do that they become years behind everybody else.

@ Harry* no doubt about that. Even when people doubted and said they weren’t successful with the GCN they still had a success in hand (or should I say in our hands, GBA anyone?) even though it wasn’t the Cube. And now there’s two underdog success stories for this round. One for the influential DS. The design and features (TS) that Nintendo chose may have even influence the iphone.

And the other goes to the Wii, with design and control that almost reminds you of the first time you laid hands on a controller. It brings back that feeling (for me a least) when I first started playing games. That sense of discovering that wow factor that was somewhat missing form the last gen. I bought a lot of games during that time, and sometimes felt as if I was just buying it because it was something that I’m just used to. The Wii just feels new and refreshing to me and others apparently.

Granted there were some games that I still find unique even to this day AC (can’t wait for AC Wii), RE4( haven’t played the wii version yet and I’m afraid to because the GCN version might get bump down after I play it), and GTA:SA (the sheer amount of things you can do in it is still unmatched in sandbox games). Those are just a few games that are standouts but I keep thinking how much better those games would be on the Wii.

DMC is game that comes to mind when thinking about which games I want to make a wii appearance. But sadly I think that it’ll be awhile before the wii gets games like this. However I could be wrong on this but the way things are going I doubt it. Developers are way too timid and sometimes too arrogant these days anyways.

Even when something is a success staring them right in the face they still refuse to support it. They much rather pull in more support for a console that is doing poorly in the place that the game is suppose to sell to (not saying any names). This has to change because they know as much as we (if not more)do that the Wii isn’t going anywhere meaning it’s not a FAD.
