Paint By DS hitting Europe in October

I’m sad to see that there’s no plans for a NA release so far for this title, as it actually sounds pretty relaxing. You’ll actually be able to basically color in famous paintings and be critiqued when finished. One thing I’ve always been terrible at is art, and videogames usually make me at least slightly better at things I’m not good at. Paint by DS Fact Sheet

Paint by DS is a digital colouring book which enables the player to recreate masterpieces by renowned artists such as Hokusai, Cezanne and Van Gogh, in their own artistic style.

The player uses the DS stylus to mix oil and water-based paints to create colours and consistencies and then paint the artwork. Paint by DS consists of 15 colouring in challenges along with a variety of fun mini games, such as puzzles based on the famous artwork included in the game.

• Re-create famous works of art using your own artistic style
• Artwork by Van Gogh, Cezanne, Katsushika Hokusai, P.J. Redoute and many others
• Mix oil and watercolour paints with the DS stylus or use coloured pencils
• Your paintings are critiqued when finished
• Paint with relaxing instrumental music in the background
• Contains four recreational mini games to “take a break” from drawing
