Probably because he’s gay. Think about it, a guy abandoned by his dad in a red speedo who pretends to be a fairy while shooting out confetti and asking to be links friend.

Hahah, Tingle. Now that I think about it, his name sounds like “tinkle”, and would go together with “wee” (Wii). That’ll be a great match!
I’d love to see him with his debut console game. I still have yet to play one of his previous handheld games. In fact, I’m gonna check them out right now.
