I think it'd be great if people could make their own songs and put them on an SDcard and play them from there on the Wii without modding the system. That way, we could get whatever we wanted.

I think saying is emo is a little convenient. I'd say they are more of an alternative group. I really hate labels in the first place. A few of those songs seem decent for the game but I would select some alternate songs for a few of these groups. I'm really not into "emo" style, repetitive music so Guitar Hero either would have to feature just a couple from this style to keep the monotony low and have far more classic tracks to water down the inevitable outcry for trendy music.

Darkness and feeder are not emo, fightstar and inme are more grunge and one winged angel is just a theme song. But yeah yellow card and funeral for a friend are emo music.
Coheed and cambria have their own genre.

1. I Believe in a thing Called Love isn't emo. Assuming I know which song is being talked about, the song is by The Darkness. They're more of a rock to old school rock kind of band.

2. Some riffs are pretty fun, but a lot of them overlap in style and actual fingering. 5 buttons doesn't have a lot of customization to work with. Though, they have done decently well with the song selections in the past.

3. The Mars Volta - Cassandra Gemini. That song will absolutely never ever ever ever happen on a GH game... probably even less likely to be on Rock Band. If any of you have heard of them or this song... you'll know why.

Frankly, I want more obscure songs (not just in the sense that no one knows about the song, but also the actual music) to be on these games. I mean, you have your Ozzy's and your Metallicas and your Guns N' Roses. But where are your The Black Keys, The Fall of Troy, even The Mars Volta?
