“DS tracks remade with Wii graphics!”
Sadly, there’s not that much difference.

    16 players?? That is awesome!

  • Will

    And so it begins :)
I think we have a sure thing here, the massive multiplayer just about triples the value for me and I’m sure most people will agree. If Nintendo out does themselves some more 1. I’ll have too much to play and 2. they’ll continue to pulverize the competition. This news needs to be all over the net.

  • JimmyDief

It’s from the official Nintendo magazine, so it’s gotta be true. This is truly great news for Wii owners and Mario Kart fans.

Whats with the massive online on the Wii? I thoughtit wasn’t powerful or whatever. Wasn’t there something about a 32-player online shooter game too? Insane…

  • nintendog66

Matt, yes there WILL be a 32 online shooter called Medal of honor: Heroes 2 running at 60 FPS!!! There are loads of other online games coming out this year too.

  • Steve

Nice! I wonder why they haven’t made any of this public knowledge other than in this “official magazine.” I wonder what in-air stunts they are talking about…

    @flamingsquirrel — come on…there is definitely a difference…

@nintendog66 -> yeah hardly can’t wait for it myself. That is 1 of the reason I got me Wii. To kill someone with a sword on the other end of the world by making the swing :D ! (For example ;) .)

  • SirVenom

FlamingSquirrel: The DS runs 64 bit, right? I believe, though am not sure, that the Wii is near 250 bits… It at least exceeds 128, for sure. There is definitely a large difference.

Stunts?! It’s not wave race. Bloody gimmicks.

  • Steve

Apparently, this was not an official announcement, guys. Check this out:

It was all speculation. I’m not sure I understand why the “Official Nintendo Magazine” would not know, but that’s what they said. My thoughts: this was a slip on their part, and Nintendo told them to print a retractment (I think that’s the right word) on the article saying it was all “speculation” on their part.

    Thoughts??
