WiiNintendo’s first 10 min. of Brunswick Bowling

YouTube Preview Image

In short (real short), it’s no Wii Sports.  I played a good hour and it just doesn’t control like Wii Bowling.  You don’t get the 1 to 1 feeling you do with Wii Sports.  Basically, you swing your arm back and let go.  Spinning the wiimote or swinging it harder had little to no affect on the ball.

I’m going to play a little more just to make sure I’m not missing something here, but WHY in the world would you not make a bowling equal to or better than Wii Sports bowling 9 months after it’s release?

What do you use to record the video?

And it seems I’m not missing out… they could’ve done a lot better… I mean Wii Sports Bowling is fun as hell and then this comes a long and should easily be able to trump it… but no.

Aw man, I was looking forward to this one when we first read about it. Now I would rather pass on it, if the playstyle isn’t like Wii Sports’, then nah.. Even the graphics look boring. At least it’s better than the N64 release. If this one had MP3 support it would be a maybe.
    Long live Wii Sports~! \:D/

    That kinda sucks to hear.
    :(

The thought of better Boxing, Tennis and Bowling games with better or more percise controls is exciting. Then to hear that they dropped the ball and produced a version that can’t trump Wii Sports is rather disappointing.
