Smash Bros Character Selection Screens? FAKE
Update:(Floating World) (err this is the one I was talking about ^^)
I looked at this extensively yesterday and have complete confidence that its fake. I wasn’t going to post it, but I’ll give my reasons as to why this can be categorized as a fake.
1) Selected Characters
Each selected character is the same exact model from the Dojo (Smash bros official website). This sends up red flags to begin with. Surely the developers have more models than just the ones on the site. Even still, I guess it could make sense. Here’s where the photoshopper really screwed up though. Kirby’s model is actually slightly different! His right arm (on the left if you’re facing it) is moved down to his side, so as not to overlap on Samus. Huge mistake. After noticing this, the arm really looks tacked on and out of place. Check the pictures below for proof, taken directly from Dojo.
2) No cursor of any kind on the screen
Self explanatory, but there should be some kind of cursor on the screen to indicate selection. You might say, “but the game indicates gamecube control scheme, it wouldn’t use a cursor like the wiimote.” I would have to disagree. Melee used a controller-controlled cursor, and this one should to.
3) Characters in select screen
The actual character select pictures are nearly all taken from the dojo again, though some are flipped, probably to try to throw you off. It just screams of fake, when all of the parts that make up the screen come entirely from things we’ve already seen.
4) 50 Characters
50 Characters? I’m not saying that that many players won’t be available, because I think its certainly possible, but I don’t understand why they would conviently have EXACTLY 50 playable characters. It’s too calculated.

This one’s even worse. As has been pointed out in the comments, Luigi’s name is Pikachu. Seems like an issue, right? Also, the hand is the exact same hand used on the wii menu. That just seems VERY unlikely. I can’t believe the kind of publicity these fakes get.
