Wii Supplies to Remain wear throughout 2007

Recent reports by Taiwanese manufacturers, Nintendo has been forced to delay the planned production increase of its Wii console. Due to the delay, the component makers expect Wii shortages to continue throughout the second half of 2007.
Nintendo had planned to boost Wii manufacturing by June, this is all due to a short of IC chips and PCBs.

According to the NPD last month, Wii showed no signs of slowing sales. Just recently taking over 360 in number of units sold . Will this put a damper on there great sales? Well they still be able to maintain a steady lead in units sold? We will answer these questions and more in the coming months.
