I’d like to introduce a new collection element to the game—stickers.

Yes, the ones you slap on your notebook or skateboard or whatever. Stickers.

This…is a sticker.

Stickers are easier to get a hold of than trophies. Just play the game and you’ll start to earn them as rewards.

Stickers get filed away in your album.

There are big ones and small ones, all with different kinds of artwork. There’s a ton of variety.

Now stick one on! Sticky, sticky…

This is a fun extra mode where you can enjoy decorating things by putting stickers on them. You can even make single frame comics with them.

And rumor is, you can even save screenshots?!

Note: It would make sense that if the game is online-enabled (still not 100% confirmed), that you would be able to trade stickers with friends. Pretty cool stuff.

    I’m not entirely sure if they even got rid of trophies. After all, there is the fact that the whole story mode is based on trophies. Plus, there’s this quote in the update:

    This SEEMS to imply that there are both stickers AND trophies with stickers merely being more common. I could be wrong, of course, but there is enough evidence that stickers and trophies co-exist that I’m not disappointed with the update.

    Thanks,I believe they will haVE TROPHIES,and this is considered a game mode…..probbly a very odd game mode that really has nothin to do with the plot,therefore I believe trophies will be in this,and more collectible

    Now I am starting to see why this game is taking so long to come out…
    They are stuffing it full of quality so much that its coming out the seems… I hope you can create stickers from screenshots and then send them around online as suggested

    i didn’t see this update coming. i thought it was gonna be a stage or an item but not a game mode pretty cool i think. maybe you can decorate a character and play as him instead of just picking colors like in ssbm

    Yes, it is compatible with the GC controller, Classic controller, Wiimote, and Wiimote/Nunchuk combo.

    for all of you that arent sure about trophies and stickers,
    There will still be trophies, but they will be harder to earn,
    i beleive stickers will be give no matter what if you pass a stage and the
    trophy will be if you get X amount of points or in a certain time.

    I don’t think they should use stickers. It’s not that it stupid but the should save that space for more trophies or an extra character would be better use of space

    what on this stickers are characters, assists,items, stage people or just random stickers. like do you think this means that toad is a charater, or the coco tree head thing is just a assist, dice block an item, or that elephant is just there on yoshi stage again or that scale dude from brain age is there to just waste sticker space what are your thoughts

    I think they’ll do fine or space considering that they can fit like 5 collectible Zelda games on a gamecube disc which is smaller than a Wii disc…
