Also, in the latest Tips and Tricks Magazine an interview with Miyamoto revealed something:
“Nintendo hopes that Snake’s appearance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl will encourage other publishers to allow their characters to join the Smash Bros. line-up, and is already actively negotiating for the rights to include at least one other non-Nintendo character. Both Sakurai and Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto have stated that Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog is the character that Smash Bros. fans have requested the most and… well, it’s hard to type these words with our fingers crossed!”

I hope this is true and yeah they said they want 40 people and a few non-Nintendo characters. I can’t wait to see who they are.
Lol, I was looking so close at what the finger was pointing at for some evidence of Sonic that I completely missed that Sonic was in the left part of the picture… =D

Yeah, this is fake. You can tell because the Sonic in the Best Buy coupon is the same art as Sonic Heroes and Samus is the art style from Metroid Prime and not the new SSBB style.
Also, may I ask for a source on that “40 characters” bit? I know that’s around what most fans are wanting but I’ve never heard any official word of 40 being the rough amount of characters.
You never know because Sonic is going to be in the olympic games with Mario.

the guy responsible for brawl said that in an interview, wiinintendo posted about this i think, or its at the site, i forgot where i read it. he said he wanted about 40 characters and a few non-nintendo characters.
also, i think that ad was made by a gamer who just got bits a pieces of other rendered games. like yes, that sonic is from heroes, yes that samus is from metroid prime 2? no clue dont play metroid, Wario is from brawl, link is an picture of him in twilight princess, kirby is brawl but not sure since he looks the same no matter what, and in the background is the characters from smash bros melee. i think the ad gamer just put sonic in there because he’s one of millions who want him in the game!

well i know that this picture is fake (sonic looks like sonic heroes ect) but that dosn’t mean he is not in the game. I heard that in one of the sub emmissy picture, b ut that is porbably a lie too. Oh well it dosn’t mean he won’t come in. There saving it for last hopefully
