Nintendo Sneaks in Keyboard Support! August 7, 2007
Nintendo pulled a fast one on us with last night’s update, it would seem. According to GoNintendo, USB keyboards now have some compatibility with the Wii. There is not much information on this yet, but there are reports that certain keyboards will not work, and it does not work on the Internet Channel.
I personally have tested and confirmed that it works in the Message Board. It really makes those emails much easier to send! Although this is not much, it is a big step into communication in online gaming! Make it happen, Nintendo!
Note: It is also said to work in the Shop and News channels, although I did not test either.

Ugh, my video was very low quality. If someone else can record a video and upload it, you will get full credit for it.

Thats cool. About the Wii news thing: I signed up and I got the confirmation on my Wii, but I haven’t been getting any mail, have you been sending them or is it just not working?

Sweet! Now my friends can’t mock me about the 360’s USB keyboard.
Does Anyone know where to buy a USB keyboard?

You can find them practically anywhere; I reccomend Best Buy.
