Samus gets Delayed

Seven more days without Samus…

July 2, 2007 – Nintendo of America on Monday announced the official release date for The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass on Nintendo DS. Incidentally, it’s this October. But more importantly to Wii owners, hidden at the end of its press statement was a quick blurb on Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, which has apparently been delayed by a week.

The title was formerly set for an August 20 debut and now it will release stateside on August 27, which means we’ll have to wait seven more very long days for the return of Samus.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is the third and final installment in Nintendo’s acclaimed Prime series. The game takes franchise heroine Aran on an all-new mission that spans multiple planets and once more involves nemesis Dark Samus. Corruption’s innovative new pixel-perfect control, made possible thanks to the Wii remote, may revolutionize the way first-person titles are played on Nintendo’s console.NOOOOO!!!

    Danger Prune: I import some of my DVDs from Australia because a lot of them are cheaper down there, not sure about the games do, what does a new Wii game cost for you, because I was under the impression it’s more than EU, but a bit less than UK? And when do you get the stuff?
    Still think it’s funny that you’re region 4 when it’s the same as region 2.

    7 Days isn’t a big deal, Im still looking forward too it, but it is kind of a loss that there is no online capabilities.

    it costs us AU $100 for a game. Or $99.99 as the retailers like to put it. We usually get games 2-3 weeks after The UK gets them which I guess isn’t that bad. Sorry if i am incorrect. Guess I should have researched it a bit before I said it.
