10 Day Warning!

The internet is free – but not for long. New/lazy Nintendo Wii owners who haven’t yet downloaded the system’s web browser have until June 30th to get it for free. The Opera-based browser, introduced in December and improved in April, won’t replace your desktop/laptop computer, but can come in handy if those aren’t working. And it beats the niblets out of WebTV.After June 30th, it’ll cost 500 Wii Points ($5) to download the Internet channel – and before you ask, if you’ve already got it, you won’t be charged retroactively.
