“The controls for the four-wheeled vehicles seemed loose and physics seemed to favor the Transformers — whether you’re a vehicle or an upright robot, colliding with a car will result in the auto shooting backward and flipping through the air — but Activision and Traveller’s Tales seem intent on giving folks a solid representation of the movie on their consoles. The actors are onboard to lend their voices, you’ll take control of nine different Transformers, the movie’s composer put together more than 100 minutes of music for the game and the company seems to have nailed the weighted feeling of the machines with the craters the robot footsteps leave in the street and a camera that lurches from side to side as the massive ‘bots move.”
