"even better, sell them at the same price but enhance them with new features, graphics or online play."

Even better? Speak for yourself.

i think the price could come a tad, but its the games that are on it, i know if they put games on it like mario rpg (which would kick major ass), super mario bros. 3 (which would also kick ass), chrono trigger, & final fantasy 2&3, i would def. lighten my wallet

I don't use VC because of DRM. If it was not DRM then I might purchase something from there (actually still I probably wouldn't, but I would have a better chance of doing so if it was non-DRM)

The games available for the VC are pretty good in Europe at least but some choices make me wonder a bit, for example why release Streets of Rage instead of Streets of Rage 2 as more people seem to consider that the best in the series.

Anyway, I think the price really is the problem. In the beginning I was very interested in getting the old classics and playing them but after realizing I'm spending quite a bit on these overall, it just started to make no sense buying old games for these prices. It's not that they're THAT expensive, it's just that buying lots of them will make you feel the weight difference of your wallet.

So, what could be done? I don't think the new feature thing is really possible. They would have to gather quite a bit of resources (as in employ more people and use more money on it) to make new graphics and the such but what they could do is enable online play with friends so that your Wii thinks the person is sitting next to you and in multiplayer games you just select "2 players" or whatever. The "save state" type of feature where you can choose to go back to your Wii menu and your game will continue from the same point you left off when you play it again is quite good too. But maybe they could add a "real" save state system where you could create saves from different points of your game and load those (as in the save doesn't disappear when you load it) just like the emulators you see on the PC for the SNES for example.

Another option would be to allow you to gather "Dedication points" (yeah I know the name sucks but it's off the top of my head :)) which you get from each purchase and they can be used to reduce the prices of future games you buy. What this means is if you buy lots of games for the VC (like many of us do I'm sure) you'd get sort of discounts from them. It's a very known strategy in marketing, to keep your customers loyal to you and not to go off to the next cheapest new product you can sort of "reward" them for sticking with you.
