1-2 Players finally described

We have all gotten onto Nintendo’s page to look on the gaming software that is in store for our Wii’s now and in the coming future. With this, we have also all clicked on the Super Mario Galaxy link to be shocked when we saw that it said it will be 1-2 players. But How?

Will there be Mario fights like Smash Brothers, or will it on and off like Super Mario Brothers? Well in fact, according to the Wikipedia page found here, in an interview with IGN’s Takashi Tezuka, the claim is that the game will most likely have a co-operative option. Meaning two people could play together to achieve the goal at the same time. But at the same time on the site it still says 1-2 players meaning that it is not 100% sure that it will be two players. In fact, Shigeru Miyamoto (the very creator of Mario), states that he fears it will interfere with Mario’s progress and interface.

Unfortunately, we can only wait out the long dreadful anticipation. Still not one site has confirmed the final release date.

    I was excited for an entire minute until I saw your little disclaimer there. Sadly I think Mario & Luigi co-op will be limited to Mario Party mini-games. Which is unfortunate, because a co-op Mario Galaxy would be a great idea.

    The N64 and Gamecube were all about multiplayer games, but Mario 64 and Sunshine had nowhere near the same 2P fun factor as Mario 3 or Mario World. And those were just barely co-op.
