    This is why it’s a april fools joke:

    1. no buttons pressed when playing wii bowl
    2. there are LED’s on the helmet saying which player you are (whow do they know that)
    3. if you look up you can’t see youre TV annymore.
    4. it’s a tippicall april fool
    5. thinkgeek never edits it’s webpage on sunday normaly.

    that’s why…

    and it sucks also..

The lights would be obtained the same way the wiimote gets them, through bluetooth. That is, if the lights were more than decorations. Watch the video again.     Look closely, and you’ll see that the wiimote is turned on or hooked up to anything for use of external buttons.
