More hints of Guitar Hero Coming to Wii March 26, 2007
NGamer, the wildly popular British Nintendo Magazine has announced in their latest issue that the next Guitar Hero will be hitting the Wii. No new details on the controls, release date or anything else were given, only a few sentences that really do nothing but leave us completely hanging!
“Cult rhythm game Guitar Hero is on its way to Wii. It comes with a guitar-shaped controller and plays convincingly enough to make you think you’re making real music. Hopefully we’ll get the actual guitar, and not a pretend remote/nunchuk version.”
I personally hope we get the guitar. Wii controls are great but nothing beats playing the guitar in Guitar Hero. What would really rock is an option to use two separate control schemes, one designed specifically for the Wii and one using the guitar.

Hey you’re right! Sorry bout that. Well, consider this an update on not much of anything. Funny thing is, I grabbed that pic off my hard drive. I must have saved it back then cause I thought it was so cool. Maybe I’ll grab another here in a sec just so it looks a little different.

I agree that using the guitar controller is one of the things that makes Guitar Hero such a cool game, and hope the Wii version comes with that.
Of course, they could also include a version that uses the Wii controllers and call it “Air-Guitar Hero”.
