Xbox Microsoft boss Peter Moore has hinted at a change in strategy for Xbox 360 going into 2007, to compete with the mainstream appeal of Nintendo’s fun-focused Wii. “From a first-party point of view, it’s not just about E-rated games, it’s going to be about the experience that, quite frankly, Nintendo has done a tremendous [...]

TMNT video trailer, gameplay and screens
I pretty much dismissed all Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle games since the NES, SNES, and Arcade versions…but I may have to reconsider, this game is looking good. It’s sorta reminisent of Prince of Persia the way you manuever your way around. The screen shots (at least the first one below) sorta feels like Splinter [...]
Matt Casamassina Says BIG Things Coming
It seems like in a recent IGN blog by Matt C. that there are some “cool things coming down the pipeline for the Wii.” He’s not allowed to talk about it until there is confirmation from the publishers. Then, he confesses that Miyamoto will have something in relation to a Wii Game Demo Channel at [...]
Reggie at DICE
Reggie Fils-Aime, the president and COO of NoA, was just recently interviwed at DICE. He talks about several topics, ranging from talking about PS3 competition, Metroid Prime 3, and the biggest hype: online play. He says that Pokemon Battle Revolution should most definitely be the first Wii America online game, said to arrive around a [...]
Neo-Geo & MSX for the Wiin!
Nintendo of Japan has updated its Virtual Console page, announcing that games from MSX and Neo-Geo will soon be added to the service. Both systems could potentially be great additions to the service without a doubt. The Neo-Geo was home to some of the best arcade ports in history, but with a high price point [...]
Splatterhouse To The VC
Splatterhouse is heading to the Virtual Console sometime in March. When it first released in for the home consoles around 1990 or so, the game had everything that a me, a 10 year boy at the time, could want – blood, guts, and … well, that’s it. The mask appealed to me since I was [...]

Wii in 30% of US households by 2011 – Analysts Predict
This is somewhat old news by now, but if you haven’t heard; industry research firm NPD Funworld made a bold prediction that by 2011, the Wii would have an installed base of 30% in the US, as well as Japan. The article found over at Gamespot, failed to put that in perspective. I’m going to [...]
WiiXT: “The Ultimate Wii Modchip”
Wiinja, CycloWiz, Wiip and Wiikey better watch out, cause it seems that this new Wii Modchip “WiiXT” (advertised by it’s makers as the Ultimate Wii Modchip) will be able to play both GC and Wii Homebrew, Games and Backups. And as a most interesting feature, seems like it will be able to play DVD Movies. [...]

COWABUNGA!!!
Konami just recently announced more VC love for the Wii! The original Castlevania (NES)and Zombies Ate My Neighbors (SNES) piqued my interest, but I’d rather see Turtles IV over the original. I wasn’t really a fan of the first one. However, I would like to request some N64 Konami titles…may we have International Superstar Soccer [...]
