You know people have actually been using the NES as a sequencing machine for creating underground music known as "8-Bit", aka "chiptune", "bitpop", etc. The 8-Bit era has inspired a lot of us, including myself, to taking what is old mixing it to a new sound. Not only the NES, but Gameboy and Atari as well were used to create such music.

For those who's got the latest issue of Nintendo Power (April 2007, Vol. 214), on page 92 there's a CD compilation of underground 8-Bit artists. It's actually a tribute to Kraftwerk music.

Check out the official website @ www.8bitoperators.com
This music is really growing on to me. Pretty nifty stuff!
