I don’t understand how you same it looks like a fake. The guy on the right is obviously holding a wii controller, so they didn’t just cut Sony guys out of some other pic and slap’em in front of a Wii screen. Sounds believable to me, Wii = unmeasurable amount of fun… PS3 = unlasting appeal that can’t justify it’s price.

It’s obviously not a fake.. if it was.. it would be WAY too perfect .. anyway.. wouldn’t you do the same thing? You work on the PS3 Stand, and there is a Wii stand next to yours, you’re bored, no customers around, Wii stand empty.. what would you play ?

Only a newbie would bring up the word ‘fake’ once they’ve read this blog. On account, didn’t even know what ftw is. I say whoever wrote the caption and posted this blog is unprofessional. It’s not that they don’t like PS3, and it’s not that like it either. We don’t see their faces to determine if they’re enjoying it. What we do see is that they’re playing it or at least trying it out. Even if it is fake, at least people other than little kids or gramps trying it out, and that’s what really matters.

Now, about the ‘fake’ I said… I didn’t say it for the picture, I mean, I don’t think there’s photomanipulation. I mean, they probably aren’t real Sony workers… But it only was an innocent comment ¬¬

I hope people have a wider mind in the future, and don’t need to be explained with ‘peras y manzanas’ [pineapples and apples] to understand someone’s opinion

i can believe the picture is real. at work, our ps3 demo unit burned out over a month ago. in fact, i haven’t seen very many working ps3 demos at all lately. i am not trying to bash sony here just saying maybe their demo units or display cases were faulty. that and we are still selling out of the wii in about 15 minutes and we are able to keep ps3s in stock for several days without anyone buying one. so if i was a sony rep, i would probably play on the wii too.

I’m going to have to say that I cannot judge wether the image is real or fake. I can just say why it could be fake:
Sony employees at a Nintendo stand. Do they want to get fired?
Look at the position of the hands/arms. Obviously only the guy on the far right could be palying since it’s in one player mode, but it looks to me like his arms are in a strange position to be playing the Wii. Looks more like normal controller position. Though judging from what I can recognise on the TV he might be doing a lower block.
Jose doesn’t cite a source so there is no way of knowing where this image is originally from. Did you take the picture yourself?
I for one believe it is real though, maybe because I want to believe it really because it is hilarious.

Ok, to start things off, I am the guy who took this picture. At the risk of opening the flood gates and infuriating lots of Sony fanboys, this picture is actually as bad as it seems. Me and my friend was visiting a technical fair / show called Dustin Digital Expo 2007 and this was one of the first public displays of Playstation 3 in Sweden. The funny thing is that I expected to queue in line for about 30 minutes to play it considering all the hype surrounding Sony’s new console, but after about five minutes I was playing MotorStorm. Then later when I was looking around the expo I stumbled across the Nintendo booth where interestingly the Sony booth personal was occupying one of the machines. A single word flew through my head as I was reaching for my digital camera; “priceless� ( Extra priceless considering they _could_ be playing PS3 )
And they were both playing, I have a couple of more pics to prove that

Thank you AndreasH for clearing that up. But if they are both playing then why is it not split screen?

Lewis, Sony says Wii is an impulse buy, just a novelty, etc, that is not promoting the Wii.

Not shure actually, but they were both holding controllers, and when I first spotted them they were swinging away like crazy.
