Link To The Past

I hate to post this as I am jelous but all you lucky guys in the US of A can login and for a tiny fee of 800 points download one of the best Zelda titles…A Link To The Past for the SNES. Hopefully it will be coming to Europe soon but that is yet to be seen.

  • Shame, I just picked it up at the flea market....
  • i have a massive collection of almost 1000 Nintendo games but ill still be buying VC titles, even if i already have them, there are some games that are just great to pick up and play and the fact they are only a wiimote click away is brilliant.

I'm with Roth on this one. I have an emulator on my modded Xbox but the VC on the Wii is very convenient. That, and the fact that Nintendo will always remember your purchases makes buying a VC game a pretty good deal. They also run extremely well so at least I won't be having compatibility issues that emulators often have. I'll just be picky with my purchases.
  • Well this is news for people that may like to get it on the VC for convenience. I, myself, used to own the SNES cartridge until I let someone borrow and never returned it. It's for your own convenience, whatever fits your lifestyle. If you don't need it, you don't need it. It's not like it's telling you and making you get it. This goes to all VC game releases.

I had the GBA versoin, and the SNES version, why would I pay another $8 to play a game that I've already beat several times, plus I ca always use an emulator...
  • WOW~! So unexpected. I was talking about this game and the whole Zelda series at work today too. I'll grab this one right away. Thanks for the heads up!

  • One of my favorite games of all time - this is a no brainer.

I haven't even messed with the VC on my Wii yet (anyone else find it discomforting to talk about a VC on their Wii, when it's one letter away from a trip to the docs office?)... anyway. If I hadn't just beat this about a month ago on the actual SNES system, thanks in large part to a totally pimpin' pawn shop, I'd be all over it. KEEP'EM COMING NINTENDO! Other than the obvious and over stated games that people want on VC, I'm looking forward to Super Offroad. Remember Populous?? Wouldn't it rock if they did that one with some Wii-mote ability so it'd act like a mouse?
