Tower Recods selling all Wii games 25% off January 19, 2007

Reader Jayson Cote wrote in and said:

“Tower Records is selling off all inventory at 25% off. They have almost every Wii game in stock for 25% off…I just bought WarioWare and Excite Truck for $37.49 each!”

Tower, which owes creditors about $200 million, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in August. In its filing, Tower said it has been hurt by an industry-wide decline in music sales, the trend toward downloading online music rather than buying CDs and competition from discount stores such as Wal-Mart.

Bad for Tower, good for Wii game buyers.

    I got zelda and madden for 75 but this was like at 2 o clock.

    they must be selling out their stock then as the word gets around...i was able to pickup WarioWare and excite truck for $37.49 a piece...

    You can't actually buy any online. When you go to checkout it says that the game has been removed from your shopping cart.

    you don't need to go to the store...you can purchase the titles online by clicking the link in the story.
