That's strange guys... when the Target in my area had them in-stock, I didn't even get to go over there until after school, and there weren't any sort of lines. There were four consoles left though.

I got my wii today from Target. Me and my roomate when to the store at 2 and waited in the car. By 4 ppl started coming and by 7 when they give the tickets to get a will there were over 50 people waiting in line. They only had 27 consoles. My roomate was ticket 1 and I was ticket 2.

So, on your advice, I just tried going to the Best Buy here in Austin, 2 hours before opening. There was a line 40 people deep. Maybe it's just here, but demand hasn't gone down at all. It's starting to piss me off, actually. WTF?
  • I believe it's still in high demand, but it's the matter of if this ad is even put out there for everyone to know about it. I think it'll be as big as launch though. You'd be surprised what kinds of people will be waiting for one.
If not only for the console, homebrewers would wait for the Wiimotes.

  • Best buy is also suppose to have them. My question is..do you guys think its still in high enough demand that people will line up for it hours in advance?

Are the ads only on the instore circular? I checked online at bestbuy and target and it says nothing about wiis. I called targets around me and only two of them said they will have wiis sunday. Thanks.
  • Yes, Target confirmed all stores will get them in on Sunday. I plan to be there at 7AM.. Mickey's sports experiment was the final straw that made me HAVE to have one heh.

For those who are still searching with no luck, try www.itrackr.com. I finally managed to get a Wii a couple weeks ago thanks to checking itrackr.com one morning.

Circuit City.com has them for sale right now. Just bought one.

OMG I want to live in the states.. in my country people sell Wii over the internet (through ebay-like sites, cause stores don't have any stock :S) at around 950$.. OMG I could buy a PS3 and have it delivered with that amount of money.. :S
  • I think with this shipment, a few stores will have Wiis left over. It's not just Circuit City...It's Gamestop, EB Games, Target, Best Buy, and other places.

Plus I hear some stores are getting like...30 Wiis.

I know that Gamestop is also supposed to get larger shipments in very soon as well, so Circuit City and Best Buy may not be your only options.
