I got up this morning at 8 and shlepped up to the Nintendo Store at Rockefeller Center. The store opened at 9 and I arrived about 3 minutes before. There were 47 people in front of me and I was the third to last to get one. Even now, the energy from the potential Wii consumers was electric, none of us knew if there were only 20 Wiis or 30 or 100. But I got one! Woo! So if you live in New York or have friends who do, get to the Nintendo store by about 8:30 to guarantee you'd get one. How did I know to go today?
