Bill Gates, CEO Microsoft, said in a recent interview that Nintendo are now their “biggest competition”. Earlier last year he did not see Nintendo as a threat but after the amazing sales over the short time it has been out. This could also be seen as a jab at Sony since their PS3 is selling remarkably poorly worldwide.

    R.O.B. for the Wii (FTW)!
    I did a lot of research on this R.O.B. (Robotic Operating Buddy) dude, and basically it was a product made to boost the original NES sales up trying to revive the gaming industry after the Virus attack/game crash of 1983 (with Atari and C64). And surprisely, it actually worked! So I guess R.O.B. saved video games from dying, as some want to believe. R.O.B. only had 2 games, and shortly died out, failed right when the Zapper (NES gun) and The Power Glove came in.

    They should remake him for a heck of it.
    I say a R.O.B. 2.0 or something
    I don't know, I guess I'm just crazy on this robot dude since I've been trying to find out who it was when I was racing against him on Mario Kart DS Wi-Fi battles.

  • Funny stuff, and Nintendo said they weren't trying to even go in competition with Microsoft and Sony, and what do you know. I think he's just trying to be nice and calling Nintendo out and back into the ring for a battle. But I've been seeing some good things from Mr. Gates, with Vista coming out (or is it already out?), I heard him and his wife donated $500m to AIDS research, I think I'm feeling a bit "Wii60" right now, haha.

  • the xbox 360 is still selling well but as soon as Nintendo can meet the demand and get those units out then they can easily sell millions before the end of the year.
